VSSJA flange adaptor is also called AF type pipe compensator in GB/T12465-2007, and VSSJA flange loosing type expansion joints, it consists of Follower, flange, sleeve, rubber seals and bolts, nuts. One end connection way is plug-in, which is same with SSJB flexible mechanical coupling, the other end connection way is flange. Flange adaptor connecting pipes can be different material, especially for steel pipe and plastic pipes. 
Working principle of VSSJA flange adaptor:
After VSSJA type flange adaptor is installed with the pipe, tighten the nut flexible ring, relying on each other under the effect of the slope of the gland nut, pressed in the outer tube sealing and connecting role to play. When the temperature changes, the pipe can move freely within the gap distance,, the local base goes down, the tube can be skewed, and to ensure that no seal leakage, which play automatically compensate for the purpose.
Classification of VSSJA flange adaptor:
According to the material difference, there are carbon steel flange adaptor, ductile iron flange adaptor and stainless steel flange adaptor.

Bolts and nuts material can be different from body.

Usually, carbon steel flange adaptor flange drilling shape is circle.

Usually, ductile iron flange adaptor flange drilling shape is oval.
